Anatomy of the Knee Articulation (2012)
A set of 3D animations, images and video were created to describe the anatomy of the knee and highlight the individual elements allowing it to bend. The visualisations were done on the request of Dr. Stéphane Tercier (Département Médico-Chirurgical de Pédiatrie) with the purpose of being integrated in a documentary about Orthopaedic Department at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Technology: Our in-house ray tracing and simulation engine BioInspire (written from scratch in C/C++) was used to create models, animations, renderings and special effects.
